Desai Road, Vadodara Beneficiaries: 35 Blind Women Lions Members Participated: 6 Non-Lions Participated: 2 Total Lions Service Hours: 12 Hours Project Description Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star organized a Hunger Relief Activity on 17 July 2026 at Kevdabaug Garden, R. V. Desai Road, Vadodara, with the objective of extending care, compassion, and food support to visually impaired women in the community. As part of the initiative, the club provided food and nourishment to 35 blind women, offering them a dignified and supportive experience. The activity reflected the Lions commitment to addressing hunger and supporting vulnerable members of society. The programme was carried out with the active participation of 6 Lions Members and 2 Non-Lions Members. The team worked together to coordinate the food distribution, assist the beneficiaries, and ensure that the activity was conducted smoothly and respectfully. Objectives of the Activity To provide food support to 35 visually impaired women. To contribute towards hunger relief in the local community. To support vulnerable and underserved members of society. To promote compassion, dignity, and inclusive community service. To encourage participation of non-Lions in humanitarian activities. To strengthen the Lions commitment to the cause of Hunger Relief. Participation & Service Contribution A total of 8 volunteers participated in the activity, comprising: 6 Lions Members 2 Non-Lions Members The Lions team contributed a total of 12 Lions service hours towards planning, coordination, beneficiary assistance, and execution of the activity. Project Impact The activity directly benefited 35 blind women by providing them with food and demonstrating care and solidarity from the Lions community. Beyond the immediate food support, the initiative helped promote the values of dignity, inclusion, compassion, and community responsibility. The participation of Non-Lions also helped extend the spirit of service beyond the Lions membership and encouraged wider community involvement. TB Nutrition Kit Distribution Date: 22nd March 2026 Venue: Manjalpur Urban Health Center As part of its commitment to supporting the fight against tuberculosis (TB), a TB Nutrition Kit Distribution Program was organized on 22nd March 2026 at Manjalpur Urban Health Center. The initiative aimed to provide essential nutritional support to TB patients undergoing treatment, helping improve their immunity, recovery, and overall well-being. Lions members distributed specially prepared nutrition kits containing essential food items rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Medical professionals at the health center emphasized the importance of proper nutrition alongside regular medication for the successful treatment of tuberculosis. The program reflected the Lions' dedication to community health and humanitarian service by extending care and support to those in need. Beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the timely assistance, while Lions members reaffirmed their commitment to serving humanity through meaningful health initiatives. Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star organized a Food for Hunger activity on 2nd March 2026, providing a full lunch to 21 visually impaired women at Siyabaug, near R.V. Desai Road, Vadodara. The initiative focused on extending care and hunger relief to a vulnerable section of the community. Four Lions members contributed 15 Lion Hours of service towards organizing the meal, with ₹5,450 raised in support of the activity. This activity reflects the club's compassionate approach to hunger relief and inclusive community service.

Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star, jointly with Lions Club of Baroda Trinetri, conducted a Food for Hunger Activity on 10th January 2026 at Geeta Mandir, Pratap Nagar Road, Vadodara. The joint hunger relief initiative served food to those in need within the local community. A total of 500 beneficiaries were reached, with 6 Lions members from Baroda Rising Star contributing 18 Lion Hours of service. The drive provided nutrition kits to support tuberculosis patients undergoing treatment, reinforcing the club's commitment to health and hunger relief. The activity reached 15 beneficiaries, with 23 Lions members contributing 30 Lion Hours of service, and ₹23,000 raised in support of the initiative. As part of District Service Week, Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star conducted a TB Nutrition Kit Distribution on 20th February 2025 at Sawad Urban Health Centre, Harni Road, Vadodara. The drive supported tuberculosis patients by providing nutrition kits to aid their recovery. Lions and non-Lion members participated in the activity, including Lion Hiren Rathod, Lion Deepak Mistry, Lion Lata Shah, Lion Paresh Shah, and Lion Falguni Bhatt. The activity reached 1,200 beneficiaries, with 12 Lions members contributing 24 Lion Hours of service. This initiative reflects the club's continued commitment to supporting TB patients as part of the district's coordinated service week.
Food and Education Game Distribution
Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star conducted a Food and Education Game Distribution activity at the Asha Deep ADMS Centre, Vadodara, on 18th February 2025. The activity combined hunger relief with educational engagement, providing food along with educational games to the centre's residents. A total of 190 beneficiaries were served, with participation from 19 Lions and non-Lion members, including Lion Hiren Rathod and fellow volunteers, who together contributed 38 Lion Hours of service. The initiative reflects the club's dual focus on humanitarian support and educational enrichment for vulnerable communities.
TB Kit Distribution
Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star distributed 10 nutrition kits to tuberculosis patients on 8th February 2025, supporting their recovery through better nutrition. The distribution was carried out in the presence of Lion Harsad Shah, Club President Lion Hiren Rathod, Lion Deepak Mistry, Lion Tarun Bhatt, Lion Falguni Bhatt, Lion Vaishali Mistry and Lion Tejal Rathod, along with 2 non-Lion members. The activity reached 600 beneficiaries, with 8 Lions members contributing 16 Lion Hours of service and ₹5,500 raised in support of the drive. It reflects the club's continued commitment to fighting hunger and supporting TB patients in Vadodara.
