Free Diabetes checkup camp

Lions Club of Baroda Rising Star conducted a Free Diabetes Checkup Camp on 16th February 2025 across five Shrinathji Haveli temple locations in Vadodara — Karelibaug, Alkapuri, Gotri Nadalaya, Manjalpur, and Waghodia. The camp was inaugurated by District Governor Lion Manoj Parmar as part of International Lion Service Week, underscoring the club's focus on diabetes awareness and early detection. A total of 887 beneficiaries were screened across the five venues, with 39 Lions members contributing 234 Lion Hours of service. The multi-location camp reflects the club's commitment to making diabetes screening accessible to a wide cross-section of the community.
